Greetings all!
My name is Andrew and I’m one of the newest additions to this great website, Geeks and Geeklets. I find that I actually fit in fairly well, as a geek and a parent of geeks I should have most of the angles covered. I started at a young age with a fascination of Star Trek and comic books, and it was all downhill from there. Now I spend my time debating Star Wars vs. Star Trek and Bleach vs. Dragonball with my oldest son, and hearing about just how awesome Sailor Moon is from my daughter. Meanwhile the youngest one is running around pretending to be a zombie.
Along with my sci-fi and fantasy addiction I work in the IT world so I do my best to stay up to date on the trends going around, especially everything Apple. I refuse to label myself as an Apple Fanboy, but that hasn’t stopped the people I know from doing it for me. Just because I have an Apple Watch, an iPad mini, and an iPhone, I don’t feel like I deserve that kind of sass. Also, please don’t ask me to debate Apple vs. Android. I’ve never lowered myself to the level of even holding a Galaxy phone. Just kidding! I actually have one leveling out my dining room table.
I think that should cover everything for now. My aim is to be informative, humorous, entertaining, and above all, sarcastic. Everyone loves sarcasm. Mostly because it’s so easy to express over written media. As for me, I’m going to see how many times I can die in Fallout 4 in the hour I have before I fall asleep on the couch.
