So in honour of the May long weekend here in Canada , I thought I’d do a review of a BBQ book that we recently picked up. The Total Grilling Manual, 264 Essentials for Cooking with Fire. (Which you can purchase here) In this book you will find everything that you could want to know about using a grill. All kinds of tips and tricks – such as which tools to use and when, how to keep your BBQ from being on fire (which mine seems to always be lol). Piles of recipes for delicious sounding food!
Categories include: Tools & Techniques, Beef, Pork, Lamb, Chicken – everything from how to choose your meat to recipes that you can make (with great instructions). Seafood, and Sides & Drinks (even a pizza recipe). The book is loaded with amazing full colour photos, including diagrams on how to put your meat on the grill (like how to roast an entire pig).
So far we haven’t made much out of the book, we have made the Coffee BBQ Sauce, and will be making it again! Since BBQ season is starting up here I am sure there will be lots that we will be trying out of this book! Definitely a 10/10 from this house!
