So sticking mostly to what I can handle, like I know now that I need some sort of bread or potato carbs every day so I don’t go insane and binge eat an entire loaf of bread lol It appears to be working so far, sitting at 294.5 which is a decent loss to start with! Tryin to stick to a basic meat, fruit and veggie diet with a slice of bread at lunch/dinner.
Current weight: 181
Goal Weight: 175
On Tuesday, I ran on the treadmill, did some stationary bike, and some quick core work. On Thursday morning, I lifted, focusing on arms, shoulders, and core. On Thursday night, our soccer team was decimated 2-7. That hurt. After that, I was very proud of myself for rolling out of bed on time Friday for a quick lifting workout, focusing on chest, back, and core. No workout Saturday, but I was on my feet all day long doing remodeling projects, so Ima count it! Thats it this week.
2016? Bye Felicia!!!
I’m officially on countdown mode for Europe this year, and EVERYTHING that comes with that!! #Hugfest2017
Because of that, I’m getting serious this year. Keeping the moderation and working on the physical, while I’m still happily fixing the mental.
n my cocoon a little while longer…
It’s 2017, and after the Holiday period I’m back in the mindset of changing my lifestyle. Good news: I have not had pop for a week. This is something I have been working hard to stop. I did struggle with giving up Sprite which occasionally helps my upset stomachs. But, I think we’re in the clear as I crave water now.
I have been doing some Yoga work outs and some core work outs, starting very slow. I’m more interested in being active every day, and lowering the stress, so I decided to give Yoga a shot. I haven’t been able to finish an entire episode yet (I am going with 30 Days of Yoga again, I really love Adriene!), but it’s a start.
I have been dabbling in plant-based diets, and I think I will work on introducing more fruits and vegetables into our daily eating habits. I’m not sure how I feel about giving up my beloved meat and eggs – especially if I can figure out a way to buy locally vs. commercially.
