So here I am. The outsider. The one who couldn’t read Wheel of Time and get into it. I know, I put Geeks and Geeklets everywhere to shame. However, I am a SUPER fan of the Shannara books and look at what MTV is doing for me !! Ok, maybe not just for me but for every Terry Brooks fan ! An entire series based on the Sword of Shannara series ! The movie will be based on the second book in the series called The Elfstones of Shannara. I am beyond excited to see this happen. The series is being filmed in New Zealand and the view is absolutely gorgeous. Throughout the season I’ll be posting my thoughts on the how the story is progressing. I’ll admit I’m a bit jaded when it comes to having my favorite books put to film. It’s a sad thing to see your beloved characters dropped into a world made by TV producers. So we will see. Hi Brian ! I don’t watch MTV at all. I haven’t since I was a teenager and they actually played music videos. 🙂 My husband saw it while watching South Park ! I’m going to post after every episode so come back and tell me what you think of the show.
