Memorable Quotes:
Once-ler: Unless someone like you cares a whole awful lot, nothing is going to get better, it’s not.
Once-ler: It’s a girl, isn’t it?
Ted: What? No!
Once-ler: Really. Because when a guy does something stupid once, well, that’s because he’s a guy. But he does the same stupid thing tiwce, that’s usually to impress some girl
The Lorax: Which way does a tree fall?
Once-ler: Uhhhh…down?
The Lorax: A tree falls the way it leans. Be careful which way you lean.
Fun Fact: The Lorax is based off the book written by Dr. Seuss published January 1, 1971.
Final Thoughts: I decided to write about this movie since it was on FX today and my daughter wanted to watch it for the millionth time! This has always been a favorite in our house. We can sign every song and dance every dance. It is even fun for the adults. I think it really helps show how consumerism is affecting our world in a creative way that children can see, probably not when they are young, but as they get older! The movie is silly but colorful and fun for kids! I love how all the images seem to be pulled right from the book!
Have you seen this movie? Give us your thoughts!
Have a Happy Saturday!
