Raspberry and Nut Smoothie

We all try to eat a little healthier, especially at the beginning of new years. This year I’m trying to drink more smoothies for breakfast ( since I’m horrible at making sure I eat breakfast.) Smoothies are the easy and quick alternative for me. My favourite smoothie recipe has got to be this one, so I thought I’d share with everyone.

Raspberry and Nut Smoothie


3/4 cup low fat milk ( I use Almond Milk )

3/4 frozen raspberries

1/2 a banana ( I usually use a whole banana, and freeze the banana the night before. OR I put bananas that are going bad in the freezer for my smoothies )

1 tbsp natural almond or peanut butter ( your fav, I love using the PB & Co peanut butters, they are delicious ! )

1 Tbsp honey or agave nectar ( I use honey )

Additional : I use a tsp. of cinnamon as well, or 1/4 cup of apple sauce.


Place ALL ingredients in a blender.

Blend until smooth and a bit frosty.
