Hello everyone and welcome to week 37 in the quest of a few internet friends who are trying to get healthy! We want to motivate one another and help each other get on the right track by working out, eating right, and reaching a great state of mind in the process. Join us weekly as we share our personal journey’s and stats to show you all that if we can do it, so can you!


Unfortunately, I had a death in the family and had to travel out of state for the funeral and to see family. Needless to say, diet and exercise went right out the window. Well the tracking is working! Keeping under my calorie goal, while not cutting anything out appears to be working just fine now that I am back to paying attention. I’ve gone up and down, but over all the last 14 days I’ve been going down.  Which of course is the right direction lol Cravings haven’t been very bad, I still have a hard time not over eating when delicious things are about, but over all I am still doing better than before!

I hit 1700 miles today!!!!! I’ve done 2 10 milers since hurting my leg way back when. I was hoping to get away from so much running at once, but I truly truly prefer it to 25 minutes with Shawn T. I am planning on doing at least 2 10 milers per week, at least until I can finish this challenge.
Eating…ehhhhh. I don’t want to weigh myself at all. And I am cheating tonight. I am crabby and hungry, I am cheating. What of it? It’s been a stressful few weeks, but I will get back on track. It was about time for my annual food bender.

Goal Weight: 180

This week was pretty good overall, sans embarrassing gym moment. Protip: when you don’t have a spotter, your attitude toward the weights on the bench press should not be “mehhh, looks close enough.” One of these days, that weight will come down off the rack, and just keep on comin’. But I’m fine. I’m not lifting 400 lbs, people. Just real awkward. On Tuesday, I lifted, focusing on chest, back, core, and legs. On Thursday, I ran 5 miles outside. On Friday, I lifted, focusing on arms, shoulders, core, and legs. Two soccer games this weekend. I love that. On Friday night we won 2-0. Sunday afternoon we won 3-1. That’s all this week!


Dear Diary
Yeah, I’m doing that thing. Being “healthy” and taking care of what I can. But maybe you can send me a transporter so I can be healthy and have coffee with my friends as well?
