Back to the grind and enjoying every minute. Yes I love sleep and yes even though it does not seem like much that extra half hour I was getting in the morning was nice. But when it comes down to it, I feel so much better during the day when I work out in the morning. It changes not only my whole mood but I feel way more energized. I will need to go to bed a bit earlier but it is way worth it! Wanna chat about diet or exercise? Tweet me @Sarindre or follow me on MyFitnessPal as korngirl723. Have a great week!

Haven’t been doing too bad! Logging is a pain and hard to remember to do, so that’s been slipping but on the whole just not eating a ton of junk food every day I’m sure has to be helping!

I pulled my hamstring last week. Or something. I actually have no idea what I did, but I figured if I tossed in some anatomical terms, it would sound more legit. Regardless, there were 3 solid days where I could not run at all. I could walk and everything fine, but running was a no-go. So, I panicked and assumed that I would never run again and would immediately gain at least 137 pounds. Of course, none of this happened. I am running again, but not 10 miles at a stretch. I’ve been doing between 2 and 5 miles the last few days. I’m going to try and ease up on the running entirely, and I have been supplementing with T25. I can honestly and truly say that I would rather run 10 miles on a treadmill than spend those 25 minutes with Shawn T. But he gets the job done. I never understood when people said “Everything Hurts and I’m Dying.” Now, I find myself trying to procure one of those T.Shirts.
Anyways, I still want to finish my challenge. I’m going to give myself a couple weeks of less running, and then I will re-evaluate and see if it can still be done. I’m so so close. Even if I don’t finish, I still get the medal. But that feels like when Wreck It Ralph gets the medal from Hero’s Duty. He didn’t really earn that medal. He wasn’t really a hero. I don’t want to be Ralph.

Starting weight: 213 (3/1)

Last week: 194 (8/12)

This week: 190

Goal weight: 190 – new goal 180

Pretty unexpectedly hit my weight goal this week. I think it was a very favorable weigh-in just after a run, but I’m still pretty happy about it. And I think it’s time to reset the goal! As far as my activities, on Monday, I lifted, focusing on chest, back, core, and legs. On Friday, I ran 5 miles outside. I had a limited week in terms of gym time because of my wife’s schedule, so I tried to make up for it Tues-Thurs by walking as much as possible. The weekend was another busy one with house work, so it was somewhat physically demanding. Next season of soccer starts August 28. That’s it for this week!

Dear diary,
I’m snorkeling again, and last week started my walks again.
I am hopeful that I’m back on track again.
Sincerely, Pixie.

I’ve been seriously training HARD for nap-marathons. Things are going well, I can do about two a day and still sleep through the night (When I’m able to fall asleep at 7pm.) I’ve avoided Pizza and have been munching on Chicken Deli Meat and Cake Pops.

Somehow I managed to lose 10lbs and keep it off. Yay!
