Hello everyone and welcome to week 33 in the quest of a few internet friends who are trying to get healthy! We want to motivate one another and help each other get on the right track by working out, eating right, and reaching a great state of mind in the process. Join us weekly as we share our personal journey’s and stats to show you all that if we can do it, so can you!


Tonight I test for another TKD midterm! I am so excited and hoping that I can do well. I need to start up my morning routine again but it is just not happening yet. I have been tired and having trouble finding the motivation as summer ends. But I need to get back into the game and push through this exercise depression! Wish me luck.  Okay, back lol What a messed up time, and of course when I thought I’d get myself sorted and back on track lol Anyway no time like the present, I haven’t been eating too horrible but at the same time I haven’t been doing my best either. I’ve loaded MFP back onto my phone and my PC and I am going start small again by just logging what I’m eating and taking a look at what I’m doing. Veggies/Fruit like always are lacking, and I need to pick that up.  Daily protein shakes will have to be made again, once I find the box the protein powder is packed in haha It’s been a slow summer, we really have done just as little as possible. As September creeps up on us, I find myself getting back into routines and making plans and  lists etc.. to get everyone moving again!

I hit 1600 miles yesterday, so yay! It’s all within my grasp, mwa-ha-ha. I’m deep into Season 2 of Rectify, and then moving on to some show with William H. Macy that my friend keeps telling me about, but the title escapes me.
After weeks of hormonal drama, I think I finally settled down in there, and my weight is back to exactly 3 oz over from before the whole thing started. Win. I literally got off the scale and immediately ate some cheesecake. Fail.
That’s about all I have to report for now, it’s been a pretty uneventful week. I’m not complaining, it just makes for boring post 🙂

Pretty typical week. Not much to report. On Monday, I lifted, focusing on chest, back, core, and legs. On Tuesday, I ran about 4 miles outside. On Friday, I lifted again, focusing on arms, shoulders, core, and legs. Our Friday night soccer league is over, but I spent a good part of the weekend painting in our attic. You may be thinking, “painting isn’t working out,” and you’re right, but painting in August heat is sweaty work and I’m a little proud of it. Next season of soccer starts August 28. That’s it for this week!


Dear Diary moved to a new country two days ago, stuck in a hotel, waiting for the local holiday 5-day long weekend (country-wide) festivities to end so we can move into our new* apartment. *New to me and the furgirls, but it was where my husband lived for 6 1/2 years while he was here before.

At least I’m gonna get power muscles from all these new stairs in our place! And I’m gonna go for a nice long swim the hotel pool once the sun isn’t directly overhead.

Eating healthy doesn’t work when you are moving and flying and are trying to get everything done without stress, but the grocery store here is like the ones in Canada, so I will be able to get tons of healthy fresh foodstuffs very soon!!

Next week? I’ll have happy news hopefully about our move.
