Hello everyone and welcome to week 31 in the quest of a few internet friends who are trying to get healthy! We want to motivate one another and help each other get on the right track by working out, eating right, and reaching a great state of mind in the process. Join us weekly as we share our personal journey’s and stats to show you all that if we can do it, so can you!

Alright, enough excuses – see that? 20160802_110936Yup, well not the water, water is all I ever drink, but the sandwich I’ve been having for lunch lately has been replaced by a Greek salad. One small step at a time right?? So here we go again! Time to get the ball rolling, I’ve done it before and I can certainly do it again! Got an awesome meal plan figured out for the next week, time to hit the grocery store and get the plan in motion!

I hit 1500 miles on Saturday. I was expecting flowers and a parade when I got off the treadmill. Instead what I got is a nasty blister. Oh well. On the brightside, I had an AMAZING 57 mile week last week, which required quite a bit of patience on my part. But I did it.
I gained 2 pounds over my period and now I’m down 2.4 from that. It’s nice there is one week a month where menstruation doesn’t effect my weight.
I finished Bloodline and have moved on to Penny Dreadful, which, against my better judgement, I love. A lot.
I might ease up a bit on the runs this week to balance out last week. Might.

Goal weight: 190

No weigh-in again this week because I was still at the beach on Friday. This week was a challenge between the heat (heat index was hovering around 105 all week!) and family stuff, but I managed to get some stuff in. On Tuesday morning I went for a 4 mile run. On Thursday morning, I got in a game of tennis with my younger brother. That’s about it as far as strenuous activity. I’m already missing the beach, but I am happy to be back in my normal routine this week.


Dear Diary moved to a new country two days ago, stuck in a hotel, waiting for the local holiday 5-day long weekend (country-wide) festivities to end so we can move into our new* apartment. *New to me and the furgirls, but it was where my husband lived for 6 1/2 years while he was here before.

At least I’m gonna get power muscles from all these new stairs in our place! And I’m gonna go for a nice long swim the hotel pool once the sun isn’t directly overhead.

Eating healthy doesn’t work when you are moving and flying and are trying to get everything done without stress, but the grocery store here is like the ones in Canada, so I will be able to get tons of healthy fresh foodstuffs very soon!!
