Not much new to report. I am back working really hard in he gym to help me achieve my goals. I feel so much stronger as I can easily bench 55 pounds now and am ready to move up to 60. It does not seem like much but a massive increase since the bar alone used to give me trouble….yikes. I need to really work on my chest and back more. I normally focus so much on legs and do them twice a week that I feel like those areas are missing out! Wanna chat about diet or exercise? Tweet me @Sarindre or follow me on MyFitnessPal as korngirl723. Have a great week!

Still no gain! Rocking summertime, Tryin to be good! Discovered my smallest daughter’s dairy allergy has returned with a vengeance, so making paleo meals has been pretty easy to do, no grain for the man of the house, no dairy for the littlest, so it works! Can’t say I don’t cheat, but we are going to try and make some ‘ice cream’ for her this week so she doesn’t feel so locked out of all the good food in life!  Still hoping once this heat disappears I will be surprised that the number drops, once all the swelling and water goes away! Maybe all the gardening and cleaning and putting stuff away will pay off eventually!

TW – 21 miles

LW – 53 miles
MTD – 94.4 miles
YTD – 1361.61 miles
My weight has stabilized, I’m still regularly cheating (shoutout to Butler’s Chop Shop and their cheesecake), and I’m racking up the miles. Once I hit 1500 miles I will be ecstatic, that’s really the home stretch!! In lifting news, I’ve hit 20 pounds per barbell – is that what they’re called? Who cares, I don’t.I feel like some kindof balance has been achieved. So yay.
It’s been hot and Steve hasn’t regularly been home in the mornings, so I’ve just kept to the treadmill. There is a godawful hill right before my house. Like 90 degrees, and it’s the last thing I have to run at the end of my 10 miles. Needless to say, the treadmill has been a nice break from this.
In Netfllix news, I’ve finished Parenthood, the new season of OITNB, and now I’m watching the new season of Jane the Virgin.

Starting weight: 213 (3/1)

Last week: 197 (7/1)

This week: 197 (7/8)

Goal weight: 190

Staying at 197 this week was very welcome news, because I felt like it wasn’t my best week. The short week due to 4th of July didn’t help my gym routine. Only two trips to the gym fit in. On day 1, I lifted, focusing on chest, upper back, core, and legs. On day 2, I I lifted again, focusing on arms, shoulders, legs, and core. Another soccer game Friday night. This time we won 1-0. Wasn’t my finest hour, but that’s okay. I have a busy week in store to make up for my self-perceived slacking! Also, to make a little headway before I head to the beach for a week at the end of July, which I’m sure will make eating and exercising right more challenging.

Dear Diary,

When life stops or five minutes and lets me catch my breath, I’ll be ready to start thinking healthy. *wanders away to go pack up everything again*
