I had a great week so far. I took the weekend to rest up and am now hitting the gym hard to make up for lost time. I hit a PR on my squats at 145 lbs this morning which makes me so happy! Woot! I was so happy. I have been working hard and am down about 8 inches total. Unfortunately I didn’t measure this am so I am not sure on the real numbers! Good luck in your fitness this week! You can tweet me if you ever want to chat @Sarindre.

This past Saturday, my husband was home, my kid was asleep. It was 5:30 am and 45 degrees outside. I had not been outside running in months and months, and I saw the opportunity and ran with it. Literally. Ughh, sorry I had to say it, it was right there! Anyways, I needed to run 7 miles to reach 50 for the week. But, it felt SO GOOD to be outside, so I just kept going. I had a good audiobook (The Life We Bury, check it out), and it was only getting warmer. Plus I had never had a chance to test out the GPS on my Garmin Forerunner – which, by the way, is incredible. I ran 15 miles. And enjoyed every minute of it. Outside is superior to treadmill running in so many ways. Oh man. Now Steve is gone and I’m back on the treadmill, but I will always remember my perfect run. That’s all I have to report. My diet has been ok, the weekend wasn’t quite the dietary disaster that it usually is. We are moving next week, so I’m hoping to hit at least 40 miles for the week. We will see.
Last Week – 58 milesWTD – 20.02 milesMTD – 152.93 milesYTD – 753.45 miles
I’m down 4lbs! I have no clue what I’m doing, but I will take it. My IBS has been very bad (It is finals week after all!). Headaches and allergies have plagued this household, but at least it’s warm outside.
Our community Pool opens up end of May or first week of June – and I am seriously hoping it’s sooner because I love swimming and I need to start working out again. I don’t think I’m ready for the work out stuff, as sad as that sounds, but I’m having some serious aches in my feet.
Not only am I working on my body’s health, but also my mental health too. I’ve been working hard keeping my apartment clean, along with taking care of my financial responsibilities. I think it’s working well, my stress towards both isn’t as high as it normally is. I will also begin Therapy, hopefully soon, to try to curb my emotional eating habits.
Until next week, my friends! -WoWMeaghan

I followed through with my plan to make it to the gym three times last week. On day 1, I lifted, focusing on chest, upper back, core, and legs. Day 2 was cardio. I hate the treadmill but it was a little too cold for me, so I did two miles on the treadmill and two more on the stationary bike. I like to step up these workouts as I go along so I’m just about sprinting at the end. Day 3 I lifted again focusing on arms, core, and legs. On Sunday I played in a soccer game, and I was feeling pretty good. I paid for it a little Monday, but that’s alright. Plan is to basically repeat this for the coming week and not cheat just because my birthday is coming up.
