Craft: Halloween Scarecrow!

My daughter and I love to make things from reusable materials. I save literally everything. Drives my husband nuts! We had some wood left over from a house project and I wanted to use it for a Halloween/Thanksgiving decoration so to Google I went! We decided on the pallet scarecrow because it was something my 6 year old could help with. I found several of these on Etsy for $30.00 – $40.00. As much as I love to support my fellow “makers” if I can make it myself I do so. Saving money is my thing!

Here is a video from Leta’s Kitchen explaining the process. I would add that if you’re going to sit this outside maybe cover it with a spray on clear cover. We used Rust-Oleum Painter’s Touch Ultra Cover and it worked great !

Here is our finished project. We had so much fun decorating it!
