August Photo Book Challenge: Day 21: Longest Book

As we near the end of August and Books & Cupcakes Book Photo Challenge, the theme is “Longest Book”. For this, I chose a classic, Les Miserables by Victor Hugo. Not the Broadway musical, the book. This is a long one. My sister read it over her kindle to watch the percentage complete slowly rise and to avoid carrying around a veritable brick.  It’s definitely worth the read and goes in depth with all the characters we know from the show. How long is it? about 1,500 pages in English, 1,900 in French. There’s five volumes included in that 1,500 pages, but it’s a solid read as long as you have the time!

Hello everyone! I'm a 30-year old Middle School science teacher, which gets all kinds of reactions. When I'm not teaching, I'm either writing, playing video games, practicing violin, drawing, or reading. I've spent many hours hiking in the woods and have been known to stargaze. I live in Maryland with my awesome, supportive, and loving husband and although we don't have kids yet, my 100+ students keep me busy.
