Hello everyone and welcome to week 7 in the quest of a few internet friends who are trying to get healthy! We want to motivate one another and help each other get on the right track by working out, eating right, and reaching a great state of mind in the process. Join us weekly as we share our personal journey’s and stats to show you all that if we can do it, so can you!

Being healthy is not just about weight loss and working out, but it is also about getting in a better state of mind, a healthy state of mind. As I mentioned last week, I am transitioning to a new job and right now I am feeling the stress. But I am learning to let it go. I know that this new job will bring me to a better state of mind both financially and physically. I plan on really using the under desk ellpitical again (I have been enjoying my small heater instead because of this cold winter) and focusing on de-stressing and getting in better shape. Weight wise I am doing well, losing slowly since the exercise has been lacking. I will say with my lack of exercise, there is a lack of tv time, which means I am not catching up on my shows! I need to get back into the game!

Starting weight – 180.5

Today’s weight – 168.6

Not a whole lot to report here! Husband has been on vacation sooooo that pretty much means I haven’t been doing very well at this whole diet and exercise stuff! Inches remained the same, but I did go up 1 lb this week. Hopefully things will return to normal for next week!!

296.5 lbs

Chest – 47.5

Waist – 47

Hips – 57

Don’t forget to catch my video blog!
I am so close to 300 miles it’s driving me insane. Not insane enough to go run 3.5 miles on the treadmill right now, but regardless, I’m annoyed. I would like to say that I will hit that milestone tomorrow, but I ran 10 miles on Monday and 10 miles today, so I’m thinking a rest day may be in order. We’ll see how I feel when I wake up. These miles felt good as I was running them, but currently I feel like absolute and total ass. I also have a near-obsessive need to go spend lots of money on running stuff. Watches and shoes and whatnot. I’m keeping the urge at bay, but I don’t know how much longer I can resist.
Last week was actually pretty good in terms of both diet and exercise. My better half was out of town for work, which meant that I was entirely ready for bed by 8:30pm. I was thus effectively able to sleep through those pesky snack times. That being said, regular snacking resumed as soon as DH returned from his travels. Alas.
Last week – 45 miles

Week-to-date – 20.5 miles

Month – 110 miles
Year – 296.56 miles
