Memories of Hope

A   belief   in   the   future,   visions  of   life

a   promise   of  dreams,  love,  and  family

preserved in the bonds of husband and wife

within   the     strong     walls     of     stability

A dream of giggles and walks in the woods

Singing   over   thunder,   warm  and  secure

Hot cocoa shared over freshly baked goods

Taking   life’s   journey   unafraid   and   sure

No terrors will lurk in bedrooms or halls.

Swiftly  will  tears  convert  into  laughter,

Darkness cannot overthrow sunlit walls.

Nightmares defeated now and hereafter

With daydreams of memories yet to fade

The presence of shadows Hope’s forbade

Hello everyone! I'm a 30-year old Middle School science teacher, which gets all kinds of reactions. When I'm not teaching, I'm either writing, playing video games, practicing violin, drawing, or reading. I've spent many hours hiking in the woods and have been known to stargaze. I live in Maryland with my awesome, supportive, and loving husband and although we don't have kids yet, my 100+ students keep me busy.
