Final Thoughts: I have heard so many things about this series, and eventually came to the conclusion that I wanted to start it. This was a quick read for me. It was fast paced and there was always something going on, which I enjoy. Mercy is a complete tomboy which I loved. She’s tough and doesn’t take crap off anyone, but can be empathetic with people/ wolves/faes/vampires around her. I loved the fact that Mercy isn’t a werewolf but in fact a ‘Walker” she can shapeshift into a coyote. She was raised by a strong wolf pack and she is always up to something. I enjoyed the pace of this book and the mix of werewolves, vampires, faes and more. I look forward to eventually reading through the rest of the series and see what other creatures the author can add into the mix.
4 out of 5 stars.
