Healthy Idea #1: Get Out!


These healthy challenges aren’t going to be focusing on hitting the gym, counting calories, or doing anything that you aren’t comfortable with – within reason.

I’m an agoraphobe by nature – many of us writers are to some degree – but every day, I try to get outside, even if it’s just on my front step or on a balcony, in order to get a bit of fresh air. (Yes, even in the cold of Canada, I liked to try!)

I realise that there are days that aren’t going to work for this, but if you honestly try every day to get outside, you will notice a bit less “cabin fever” and a bit more “aaaah, okay, I can regroup and focus on XYZ for the day!”
