Sarindre

I am 100% back into the workout groove. Tattoos are healed and I am busting out some workouts. Not only am I lifting every morning, but I also do the elliptical for 10 to 15 minutes to help me with those pesky step counts for the day. Now to try and focus on eating the right foods….after all the Halloween candy is gone though.   Wanna chat about diet or exercise? Tweet me @Sarindre or follow me on MyFitnessPal as korngirl723. Have a great week!

I know, I know. This has been a really weak month for me so far. I can explain. So as I made abundantly clear to anyone that I was even vaguely acquainted with, last week I reached my mileage goal for the year. Yesterday my medal came in the mail! My two-year-old promptly stole it and proceeded to do sprints throughout the house whilst wearing it, but that is neither here nor there. So, I had already cut back to four days a week because I have a toddler and I am tired. Last Thursday I dragged myself into the chiropractor’s office and informed him that I had finished my challenge, go me, blah blah blah. He’s known about this from the get-go, but telling him of the completion was not a great idea. He reveals to me that he has been waiting for me to finish so that he could properly yell at me for not resting enough and for slowly and surely pulverizing my hip. It’s been hurt for a long time and I never let it heal. Apparently that requires more than one day off at a stretch. So. He made me promise to take off three consecutive days. Three days. Of nothing. I was not happy. If you know me personally, I’m sure you heard from me to complain about this. Well, I made it to the other side. The world did not end. Anyways, there is a total drop in my mileage, but that’s ok, I definitely need to help this heal so I will listen. For now. Mwahahahaha.

Weight:

Starting: 213 (3/1)

Last week: 186 (10/20)

This week: 183

Goal Weight: 180

5k (3.1 miles):

Last week: 2.55 miles/20

This week: 2.65 miles/20

Goal: 3.1 miles/20

Trying to stay on track in spite of a cold which I believe has turned into a mild case of bronchitis. On Tuesday, I lifted, focusing on chest, back, legs, and core. On Thursday, I ran 2.65 miles inside on the treadmill, then 2.1 more on the stationary bike. On Thursday night, I had my first game in the new indoor session. We won 3-1. I can’t wait to have my lungs back. That’s all this week!
