Day 26 of the August Book Photo Challenge from Books and Cupcakes! Today’s prompt is “Guilty Pleasure.” Yeah, I know that the previews for the movie starring Shailene Woodley told the tale of a shameless sob-fest aimed particularly at teenage girls. The fact that I wasn’t scared off completely from The Fault in Our Stars indicates that the same marketing that works on teenage girls works on me. Mine is a sad, sad existence, people.
More seriously, I guess I saw that Woodley, who I like, was in it, and that a bunch of people loved it, and the book was on sale, so I said, “What the hell?” And it’s great. And yes, I cried like a baby at the end.
