Internet Friends and Their Quest for Health: Week 29

Hello everyone and welcome to week 29 in the quest of a few internet friends who are trying to get healthy! We want to motivate one another and help each other get on the right track by working out, eating right, and reaching a great state of mind in the process. I can tell a massive difference with my stamina since I have started this journey. I went to a concert last night and danced the night away and never even had to stop for a breath. It was amazing. I also got hurt during sparring at TKD on Monday and had to go get x-rays. I collided with someone and ended up hurting my elbow. They thought it was broken but I’m lucky and it is not! Just a severe contusion causing nerve swelling and pain. I will not be able to lift for a few days but all that cardio I am planning on doing….woo…. Wanna chat about diet or exercise?  Down a pound this week wooooo! I dunno what I did but hopefully there will be more haha Actually we have a second floor at the new house and we never did before, so guessing all the running up and down stairs helps, diet is cleaning up again slowly, exercise I’m sure will follow when I have enough boxes put away that I can actually use my living room lol One step at a time! As long as I end up lower than when we start this whole thing I’ll still be happy!

I hit 1400 miles this week, so I’m feeling pretty good. The macros are going ok, too. If I was super diligent about weighing food and quit my cheat day, I’m sure I’d get quicker, better results. But, I’m in no hurry and I like cheesecake, so what can I say?
My running show is Bloodlines. I watched season 1 back when it came out, but I am rewatching because hell if I can remember plot points. I’m also watching and loving Stranger Things, but my progress there has been hindered because my husband wants to watch it together. What a jerk.

It was a busy week and the results showed! Although I suspect some of the results are just water weight lost that I will recover… Doesn’t matter; worked out. On Monday, I lifted, focusing on chest, upper back, core, and legs. On Tuesday, I played pickup soccer with the high school kids that my older brother coaches. On Thursday, I filled in playing soccer for a friend’s team because they were going to be short. We tied 3-3. On Friday morning, I lifted again, focusing on arms, shoulders, legs, and core. Another soccer game Friday night. This time we won 4-2. I think my wife was a tiny bit annoyed with my activity this week, but she can deal because we will be together for a week and a half at the beach starting at the end of this week, while we celebrate my older brother’s wedding. Can’t wait!


Dear Diary

packing again, moving again. needing to be in a permanent place and not having that ability is tiresome. stress wins and I am forcing myself to eat. Thankfully, I am for the most part, still eating healthy. Still, I am not gaining and I’m not sure if I’m losing because I don’t care to check right now. Being in flux sucks. Might not be around next week, so Dame Tame might be filling in for me on here. Be back soonishly, Pixie
