Day 29 of the new challenge from Books and Cupcakes where we will be focusing on children’s books! When I was little, I read all the time. I still read now, but most of my books are on Audible. Back when I was young, my nose was always shoved in a book. One of my absolute favorites is The Phantom Tollbooth by Norton Juster. I remember reading it in gym class when we had SSR days and I read it about 5 times in a year. The story was interesting and it moved me. A small boy by the name of Milo is very bored, and gets a tollbooth unexpectedly. One day he drives his car through the tollbooth only to learn it is magic and teleports him to the Kingdom of Wisdom where he meets new friends and has the adventure of a life time! He even gets to try and rescue princesses! This book was fun and funny when I was younger and I would recommend that you read it with your kids to point out all the fun puns!
